Introducing Level Up Club...

Ever walked into a networking event, clutching a glass of lukewarm white wine, and thought, What am I doing here? You nod along to someone’s sales pitch, swap LinkedIn profiles, and leave feeling… exactly the same as when you arrived. Yeah, same.

Leaving unenthused and desperate to get home and whip my bra off, The Level Up Club entered my brain.

When I started thinking about it, networking events always felt either too basic, too advanced, or just didn’t get my juices flowing. I wanted something different... a space where career-driven, ambitious women could come together, learn, grow, and actually enjoy themselves in the process. No awkward small talk. No corporate jargon. Just real conversations, personal and professional growth, and maybe even a little fun along the way.

So, what's the deal?

Level Up Club is going to focus on building careers, confidence, and connections, without the usual networking cringeyness. We’ll be tackling topics that actually matter, like:

• How to ask for a pay rise (and actually get one!

• Making friends at work without it feeling like Mean Girls

• Dressing like a boss (without spending your entire paycheck)

• Sexism in the workplace – let’s talk about it

• Starting your financial journey without needing a finance degree

And because we want to break the mold, we’re pairing these conversations with creative activities, hands-on workshops, and social events that don’t suck (hopefully!). Think beer tastings, confidence-boosting talks, skills workshops, and maybe even a nostalgic ‘90s-themed sessions (because who didn’t learn life lessons from The Babysitters Club?).

Why now?

Because traditional networking wasn't for me, and I figured I wasn't alone. The workplace is changing, and so are we. We’re navigating new challenges, hybrid working, imposter syndrome, the fine line between being assertive and being called “bossy.” We deserve a space where we can share insights, build skills, and support each other in a way that actually makes an impact.
